Sterile Processing Department Renovation

The sterile processing department is located in a 50 year old medical office building in Los Angeles, California. The design team requested an above ceiling laser scan and 3D model to coordinate duct routing and points of connections to existing exhaust air systems.

Point Capture provided above and below ceiling scanning services. The below ceiling scans were completed with a NavVis VLX mobile lidar scanner. The above ceiling scans were completed with a Leica BLK360. The point cloud was then used to generate a 3D coordination model using PointFuse. The 3D model was imported to Revit for delivery to the client.

Deliverables included point cloud, panoramic images and 3D model.
