University Administration Building

This university administration building will be undergoing a renovation. Point Capture provided laser scanning and 3D modeling services to document the as-built condition of the building interior and exterior. Survey control points were collected during the scanning of the building exterior to improve accuracy and geolocate the building.

The laser scans were completed with a NavVis VLX mobile lidar scanner. The BIM model of the architectural and exposed structural features was completed in Revit. The Revit model will be used by the project architect in development of their design.
